If you decide to spend your holiday in Zanzibar, you will probably want to visit many unique places, go on unique safaris and see wildlife up close, such as the Selous Park or the Serengeti. But some days you’ll want to take a relaxing holiday and just enjoy the sound of the Indian Ocean surf and gorgeous views of pristine nature. Then safely go on this excursion. Your trip starts with a drive to Fumba village where you will board a Dhow (a local type of boat) and head into the lagoon to the mangrove trees. These are salt tolerant plants that grow right in the ocean waters, if you look closely you can see the salt particles on their leaves, this is how these plants remove the salt residue that the roots have not filtered out. We will make a stop in this bay and you will have a chance to swim among these trees. By the way on the way there is a chance to see dolphins. Then we will make a stop in the ocean right next to the coral reefs, you will be given the necessary equipment for snorkelling and you will swim to explore the underwater beauty. Very beautiful reefs and the bottom, but there are not many fish, but sailors know how to solve this problem, they stop at the baited places, pour treats into the water and immediately out of nowhere appear multicoloured flocks. After swimming you will be offered drinks and fruit and you can rest on the way to a small deserted island. We will stop here too, you can walk on the white sand and take photos. The next point is Kwal Island, here you will meet the biggest giant of Zanzibar – the oldest baobab. You have probably seen pictures of this tree or know that it is the biggest tree in the world, but in reality its size is simply astounding. After a series of swimming and walking you will have a good appetite, so we have prepared for you a delicious lunch of fish dishes (lobsters, lobsters and grilled fish), and of course cold refreshing beer is very suitable for such a lunch. Other refreshing drinks and fresh fruit for dessert will also be offered. You can also buy cheap souvenirs on the island.
